形容詞や副詞のつづりが長いとき（ふつう３音節以上）は，〜er のかわりにmore〜，〜est のかわりにmost〜が使われます。

■the most 〜：最も〜だ＜最上級＞

※more・mostは，many・much の比較級・最上級として使われることもあり，「より多くの〜」「最も多くの〜」という意味になります（Unit48参照）。
